I'm working at NUH now and am currently into my 3rd week.
I took today off (whoohoo!!).
and NO=.=...I'm not a nurse there...
I guess i can't realli help it that when i tell people i'm working in a hospital people will link me to some occupation of that line.
Ahem..so here's the truth.
I'm workin in the OFFICE of NUH.
The part of the hospital that looks like an office. you know...with all the desks and computers and people doing almost the same thing everyday.
YES! tts the one! haha!
In the morning i key in credit card numbers (ooo^^) and do data entry at the finance dept. Then after that my boss at the dept of operations will give me some other "sai kang" to do.
Lately they're doing some study on patients in the children's clinic.
I juz sit there the whole day and time people... see how long they wait for the doc's and stuff.
Its quite fun lah.... (well..better than deskjobs) ...i watch Kids Central the whole day on the TV there...
and juz wait.... and wait...and wait.
hahaha!! i'll be doing it for 2 weeks! crap! duno how long i can last but its weirdly interesting=)
(for now...)
Regarding about the previous job at Changi.... my mum tot it was too far so i rejected it. (I got the NUH job on the same day! lucky hor^^? )
Back to NUH: I'm a temp there. I'm paid relativelyLOW but the hours are superFLEXIBLE. and i can take OFFs any time i want=)
(of coz...thats the freedom i have lah but I don't take advantage of it)
so yah^^ if any of u guys end up in NUH or somethin (which obviously its not a good sign so i hope not) u can sms me ^^. perhaps we can go eat lunch together! (ahem unless u're sick in the wards... then maybe i'll buy u porridge HAHAHAXD)
